We gave ourself the challenge of trying to stay away from the cliché logos with the colour brown and coffee cups. We wanted to focus on a clean, upmarket and organic feel for the logo design to show what The Grind has to offer. With coffee shops in five locations, the logo had to cater to all different area’s around the world, so we had to keep it quite simple. We came up with the idea to replace the counter in the ‘R’ with a coffee bean and marry it with a clean typeface. We then added the leaves to focus on an organic feel and to balance the logo.
