Harvey's Honey

We were approached by two entrepreneurs behind Harvey’s Honey to create a new brand for their ethically sourced, traditional homegrown honey. They had one mission; to be as far away from a ‘corporate’ brand as possible. They wanted to keep their family roots and keep the brand traditional. Take a look at what we did below!

The Brief

To put a new startup honey brand on the map with a logo that fits within their brand guidelines.

To create a logo that focuses on the honey’s USP of ethicality, traditionality & homegrown honey.

To create an icon that can be spread across the brand’s other marketing material including; web, social media and print.

To create a brand identity that is recognisable for their consumers and in turn plants the roots for the business’ future.


Our Response

We wanted to set Harvey’s Honey apart from its competitors and wanted to make sure they stood out on a shelf in a supermarket. We wanted to keep it quite fun and unorthodox so it would be set apart from their corporate counterparts. We created a unique icon for the brand that included a bee and a hive fused together, this will help the brand with their future in securing loyal customers. We hope this unique icon will become more prominent in the business’ future. We paired this with a custom typeface to really compliment the look and feel of the logo as a whole.
